The Friends of Blackburn Museum monthly talk

‘Cotton Famine’ a talk by Steve Irwin

Steve Irwin, the Museum’s Education Officer will give a talk on the crisis in Lancashire caused by the American Civil War.  He will look at the origins of the crisis, the impact on ordinary people and how it was managed locally.
