Countryside Comes to Town 2016

Blackburn’s blooming and Lancashire’s biggest urban nature-fest returns with a bumper crop of flowers, free attractions, entertainment and fun for all the family and once again Blackburn Museum are proud to be part of the occasion.

FREE Events at Blackburn Museum

11am – 1pm – Creepy Crawly Roadshow (Insect and Creature handling)

11am – 4pm – Natural History Trail (Come and explore the Museum’s Natural History Collection with our family friendly quiz)

11am – 4pm – Get Crafty art and craft sessions. Bug themed crafts, suitable for children up to 12 years old. Please note these sessions are unsupervised and children must be accompanied by an adult.

1 – 3pm – Flower themed crafts with Action Factory.

2 – 4pm –¬†Creepy Crawly Roadshow (Insect and Creature handling)

Please note that the Museum will be open for all from 11am – 4:45pm.
