Zeta Reticulans: An exhibition of paintings by Paul Drew
Paul Drew is the next artist to exhibit in our Skill & Labour Community Gallery space at Blackburn Museum.
Paul says; “My paintings are inspired and influenced by Surrealist and Neo-Expressionist works as I admire the way these types of art bend reality in a humorous and satirical way. My work is an exploration of both the world around me and my own place within the world. I explore this in a symbolic and motif based way and the themes presented can range from youth sub culture to class division, from statements about art to conspiracy theories and from religion to politics. My paintings are my stories and I am happy to share them with you. I hope you enjoy a glance through my eyes.”
