The museum is fully accessible with an outdoor ramp and lift access to all floors, as well as an accessible toilet on the ground floor. If your group has students who require additional support, please make us aware of this so we can cater to them.
We have space in one of our ground floor galleries for your students to have their lunch – please mention in your booking if you require this.
Once your booking has been confirmed you will be provided with applicable risk assessments and session outlines, however if you want to see them beforehand – just ask.
The museum is located on Museum Street, Blackburn, BB1 7AJ.
A useful dropping off and picking up point for large coaches is on Exchange Street where the bus stops are, and a pedestrian crossing up to the museum. Please check for road closures beforehand.
There is limited on-street parking near the museum, the council website can help you find a suitable car park for your size of vehicle.
