‘Get Crafty’ – Free Summer Holiday Arts and Crafts Sessions
These free craft sessions are drop-in and are unsupervised by Museum staff. They are aimed at children from toddler age to 12 years. All children must be supervised by an adult.
The theme for these sessions have been inspired by our collection and will vary from week to week, throughout the summer holidays.
Week 1 -WED 27th – SAT 30th JULY – Hart Gallery
Week 2 – WED 3rd – SAT 6th AUG – Victorian Gallery
Week 3 – WED 10th – SAT 13th AUG – South Asian Gallery
Week 4 – WED 17th – SAT 20th AUG – Beetles and Taxidermy Collection
Week 5 – WED 24th – SAT 27th AUG – Egyptian Gallery
Week 6 – WED 31st AUG – SAT 3rd SEP – Take your pick
We have a selection of crafts to choose from. (Please note these sessions will run on Wed and Sat 12 – 4 p.m only)
The crafts will take about 20-30 minutes and the children can take home whatever craft they make.
