Mini Lunchtime Talk – ‘Moore, Stone and Leighton’

By Ken Ford

We are pleased to announce that we will be doing another installment of our ‘Lunch Time Talks’ before works start on our new roof and we temporarily close our upstairs galleries!

On the 7th, 8th and 9th June we will be running a series of 30-minute talks that will give a brief introduction to several of our items…

This will be your last chance to get a deep insight into our collections on display before the upstairs galleries close on Saturday 10th June.  These talks will be led by either Mike Millward (former Blackburn Museum Manager and Curator), or Ken Ford (Museum Volunteer). All talks are between 12:30-13:00

On Thursday 8th June,  Ken Ford will give a talk about three Victorian artists who knew one another, lived near each other, and are represented by works in the Victorian Gallery.
