Mini Lunchtime Talk – ‘What is an Icon? – by Mike Millward
This February and March we are running a series of 15 minute talks that will give a brief introduction into several of our collections. These talks will be led by either Ken Ford, (Museum Volunteer) Mike Millward, (former Blackburn Museum Manager and Curator) or Caroline Wilkinson,(our very own Curator of History.)
Mike will look at the subject matter, style and physical structure of these Orthodox Christian images.
