We have a range of FREE drop-in activities all week to get involved in, including:
18/02/2025 (12-3PM) ARTIST-LED WORKSHOP
Make a bird finger puppet or headdress with artist Cath Ford, using scrap paper and card inspired by our bird collection!
19/02/2025 (12-3PM) ARTIST-LED WORKSHOP
Decorate a wooden heart inspired by the Lancashire Rose with Cath Ford.
20/02/2025 (12-3PM) ARTIST-LED WORKSHOP
Use scrap paper and card to create your own mask inspired by Picasso and the Cubist artists, with local artist Cath Ford.
21/02 – 22/02/2025 (11AM-3PM) PRINT RALLY
Visit all four locations across town to build your own Blackburn print. Venues include: Blackburn Market, Blackburn Central Library, Ask-Me The Mall, Blackburn, Blackburn Museum & Art Gallery
22/02/2025 (11AM-3PM) The Obscura Collective
Take an old-school selfie using a 70-year-old camera, learn about the traditional photographic process and capture your portraits.
ALL WEEK (11AM-4PM) ‘GET CRAFTY’ AND MUSEUM ACTIVITIES
Crafts, still life drawing, trails, and quizzes, inspired by the local work in the ART OPEN 2025 exhibition!
